Peekaboo!!!

Today was the first day I found out the girl I had an interest in was unavailable by witnessing her kiss another girl with much affection.  It created a strange and disappointing feeling: equally disappointing as watching a girl you have a crush on kiss a guy but definitely more strange - especially since she didn't seem like the type.

I am out of the loop.  Supposedly Jack Johnson released a third album back on March 1st 2005.  It’s a little depressing that I just found out- for two reasons: 1. it can’t be a good album if no one is talking about it and 2. It means I’m out of the loop.  I usually know about these things months before they happen.  I feel like the guy who just turned 40, overheard some teenagers talking, and didn’t understand any of it.  Maybe I should drop out of college to concentrate my time on being in the know musically.  I heard one track (“Never Know”) from Jack’s new album and it shows promise.  Maybe he’s bounced back after that dismal sophomore album of his, and gone back to making good music.  I’ll buy the album and let everyone know, but you probably all know already- still being in the loop…

Today was a day of mostly good news.  1st, it marked the end of my year-long misplacement of the Barnaked Ladies beautiful debut album, Gordon.  2nd, I found out, as of last Friday, my little brother is pledged to be married.  The only bad news I have recieved is that I won't be returning to Fayetteville until June 13th.  This means I won't be able to see two dear friends before they leave me for California's enticing world of fast-cars, easy-money, and long skirts.
